
IBorn and raised in Seattle, Washington, Schreivogl received her formal education at Western Washington University and the Seattle Academy of Fine Art (now known as Gage Academy) where she attended as an arts grant recipient of the Anacortes Arts Foundation.She studied with noted Northwest artist Alfred Currier from 1998 - 2002.
As a spontaneous, creative and intuitive artist, Schreivogl seeks to transmit the joy she sees and feels in everyday activities onto canvas.In her studio, her whimsical work is primarily in acrylic, though she also paints plein air oil landscapes. She always carries a pen and sketchpad whether she has studied in France, taught English in Japan, or during her travels by bicycle across the U.S.
She has been the subject of numerous media articles in the Northwest, most recently in American Art Collector, October 2009, and named Best of the West for the Northwest by Southwest Art Magazine, August 2006. She was also the featured poster artist for the Anacortes Jazz Festival (2004, 2005), the Anacortes Arts Festival (2006), among others. Her work can be found in public and private collections nationwide.
